Car was returned to Peugeot in excellent condition with 10 months road tax, 1 year's MOT. Only 2 hubcaps required replacing at a cost of less than £20. Mileage was just under 35,000
SUMMARY OF MAIN POINTS
- No contract ever received stating details of potential charges nor was I advised by Retailer
- No terms and conditions ever received from Peugeot despite request for such at end of contract following billing
- Inspector picking up car stateed car in excellent condition and in his opinion few scratches fair wear and tear. Charges amounted to £945 for bodywork and maintenace
- Andrina signs (electronically) machine for pickup of vehicle. Signature applied to other documents falsely by Peugeot.
- Inspector hands back Service History and states to Andrina that she should hang on to these just in case she should require
- Service Book always ketp in car but Inspector stated it was not there.
- No indication of breakdown of Mileage Charges on billing from Peugeot. No indication of how calculated or on what basis. Request made for breakdown but none received.
- Car Damage not agreed and Andrina does not sign (her statement states Customer did not sign) Copy of this agreement which comes from Peugeot has had her electronic signature applied to this box [FRAUD IN MY OPINION]
- Despite requesting in writing by Recorded Delivery copy of contractual terms and condtions these were not received by Andrina from Peugeot Finance
- No invoice received for mileage before they apply late payment fee to outstanding amount
- No details of what is fair wear and tear on a vehicle. Their representative stated minor scratches in his opinion and fair wear and tear fo car being 3 years old. In excellent condition overall.
- Reduction made to Bodywork and Maintenance bill is stated as being in respect of Goodwill but was in fact incorrect billing. (Service History £275, Bonnet Paint £122, [This is £397 + VAT] Reduction to the bill for Goodwill was £322.56: This did not cover even the incorrect billing aspect)
- Late Payment fees applied despite being under discussion.

Letter from Peugeot dated 9 October but received 16 October stating that £1844.76 is due on the account.
- Checked bank account and cheque not cashed by Peugeot Finance
- Checked with Royal Mail re delivery of Recorded Delivery Letter which included cheque and tracking service confirmed that package delivered to Peugeot Finance on the 22 September 09 (day following posting)
- No reply from Peugeot Finance re my recorded delivery letter to CEO received by them on 22 September 09
Telephoned Peugeot 16 October (1345 hours) - Contact stated that the Manager was in a meeting and she would let her know that I had called as soon as she was out of meeting which should be within one hour.
16 October 09: Paperwork prepared for dispatch to FSA by Recorded Delivery
